Affiliates enjoy benefits including program coordination with other groups, use of the Board Room at the Arts Center, use of a designated Affiliate’s office, use of the BCAC bulk mailing permit, and reduced rental fees for use of any spaces in the Center. <br /><br />BCAC's affiliates pay $50 per year for the services provided by the Arts Council. The organization will offer opportunities to enjoy and participate in concerts, musical studies, performances, and practices, as well as providing instruction to interested individuals.<br /><br /><strong><span style="font-size:130%;">Hartsville Civic Chorale</span></strong><br /><br />The Hartsville Civic Chorale was formed in 1981 to bring excellent choral music to Darlington County. Formed by amateur singers interested both in exploring new repretoire and in performing fine music, it presents one concert during the Christmas season and one in the Spring. We try to include children in at least one performance per year. Past performances include Bach's B-Minor Mass, Rutter's Mass for the Children, Brahms' German Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation, and other major choral works. The mission of the Players is to educate, inspire, and brighten the lives of Hartsville and the surrounding communities through a broad-based variety of live theatrical productions, including musicals, dramas, comedies, youth productions, and dinner theatre.
